A client was facing a class action litigation and investigations by multiple regulatory agencies. The client needed help keeping track of many moving pieces, deadlines that relied on a complex series of events, and budgets for different stages of the case.
We developed a project plan workflow with visualized timelines and specific insights into the cost drivers throughout the matter and presented it in an at-a-glance dashboard view, giving the client greater transparency as the litigation unfolded. Importantly, the dashboard is integrated in the client’s project portal, allowing the team to view budget to actual spend in an interactive visual format.
The dashboard is being used by the client and the firm to track budget to actuals, including in quarterly meetings to review budget variances and plan for the upcoming quarter. This approach provided clarity into the complex matter.
