A major water quality company was looking for ways to increase the diversity of its in-house teams as well as the outside counsel teams working with them.
We held a meeting with the client team to discuss their DEI goals and how we can help them achieve those goals. The collaborative conversation included the relationship attorneys, the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Director, and the client experience team.
Among our suggestions was participation in the legal diversity and inclusion coalition in the client’s headquarters city – an organization that we partnered with – as a potential resource for diverse talent to fill an open role at the company. The client is delighted with our collaboration, and we continue to share DEI-related opportunities with the in-house team as they arise.
